Intal on his new hair color: “Wala na rin ako pakialam kung ano isipin nila. Panindigan ko na, nandyan na eh.”

IT seems being sidelined for too long makes you do something out of the blue – or, in JC Intal's case, out of the blonde.

Intal, who had been out for over two months after undergoing ankle surgery, decided to dye his hair blonde recently after he was also inspired by the hairdo of controversial American swimmer Ryan Lochte in the Rio Olympics.

“Napapanood ko nung Olympics si Lochte then sabi ko, 'Okay ‘tong buhok na ‘to ah,'” the Phoenix star said in short chat with SPIN.ph. “Sinubukan ko lang, wala rin magawa eh.”

Intal was acutally going for Lochte’s ash gray color, but stylists couldn’t pull it off. Lochte's hair turned green after a few dips in the chlorine-filled pool.

“Ang tagal nila makuha yung color, so hinayaan ko na lang na ganyan,” he said. “Yung mascot namin tamang-tama, parang Dragon Ball Z, so sabi ko stay na lang, Son Goku.”
