Taulava replaces Slaughter in South All-stars lineup.
Greg Slaughter will continue to miss out on opportunities to wear a jersey other than Ginebra after he was replaced by Asi Taulava on the South All-Stars, the PBA announced on Friday.
The Barangay’s big man is bound to miss out on the league’s annual midseason festivities due to an ankle injury.
Taulava of NLEX takes his place and he will be joined in the South’s first five by Ginebra’s Joe Devance and Scottie Thompson, San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo and Star’s James Yap.
Making up the rest of the southern squad are Jeff Chan, Jericho Cruz, and JR Quinahan of Rain or Shine; Mark Barroca and RR Garcia of Star; Carlo Lastimosa of Blackwater; and Chris Ross of San Miguel. Beermen coach Leo Austria will call the shots for them. -sports.abs-cbn.com
