Kuya Marcus won't think twice if he gets another Gilas call: "Yes, no doubt, if the opportunity presents itself, of course I will take it,"
Marcus Douthit says he'll answer a Gilas call in a heartbeat
Nonetheless, Douthit, who last played basketball more than a month ago in South Korea, is expected to bring experience to a team bannered by former PBA imports Al Thornton and Hamady N'Diaye.
"I'm bringing experience here. I've been around a long time. I know how to fit in," the longtime naturalized player of Gilas Pilipinas said.
"I'm just here to make sure we focus on the task at hand which is winning. I'm not here to try to score 50 poitnts. I'm here to keep everyone together as a team."
"Yes of course because we got great imports and great locals," he said when asked if a gold medal-finish is within reach. "Obviously other teams will not have the size that we have and definitely, we need to use to our advantage."
But since he's 'back home,' the inevitable question is asked: Will he play for Gilas if called?
"Yes, no doubt, if the opportunity presents itself, of course I will take it," he said emphatically.
