France will face Canada in the finals for a ticket to the Rio Olympics

With swingman Nic Batum in uniform, the complete roster of the France national team dispatched Turkey, 75-63, and advanced to the final of the FIBA Manila Olympic Qualifying tournament on Saturday, July 9, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

France trailed early in the first quarter 13-3, but that was the only adversity the fifth-ranked team in the world faced in its most impressive win of the tournament.

Big man Omer Asik led Turkey with 19 points and 5 boards.
