84 fouls called in one game in the PBA D-League
CAFEFRANCE and Racal are looking to adjust to the calls after a strange PBA D-League Founders Cup match that saw the two sides being slapped with a combined 84 fouls.
A total of six players — three from each side — fouled out in CafeFrance’s 83-79 match against Racal. One player from each team finished the game with five fouls, while three from both teams had four fouls.
In all, 42 fouls were called on each team as Carl Bryan Cruz, Rodrigue Ebondo, and Mike Parala fouled out for CafeFrance while Philip Paniamogan, Jamil Gabawan, and Dexter Maiquez got their disqualifying sixth fouls for Racal.
But instead of complaining, CafeFrance coach Egay Macaraya and his counterpart at Racal, Caloy Garcia, simply promised to make the adjustments.
Macaraya said the referees were 'consistent' with their calls.
